  • Conflict Resolution 101- Navigating Conflict with Confidence and Clarity

  • Introduction To Restorative Justice

  • Resolving Workplace Conflict: Tools for a Healthier Work Environment

Rooted in Indigenous traditions and widely used in schools, communities, and organizations, Circles offer a structured yet flexible format for inclusive dialogue.

    Participants will explore the essential elements of planning and facilitating Circles, with emphasis on creating inclusive, respectful space and guiding the process with presence and care.

    · Assessing whether a Circle is the right fit for your goals and context

    · Developing meaningful and intentional question prompts

    · Preparing the physical or virtual space to support connection and equity

    · Facilitating the Circle with presence, neutrality, and respect

    · Designing opening and closing ceremonies to ground and complete the process

  • Leading Through Conflict: Practical Tools for Leaders, Managers, and Supervisors

    Conflict is inevitable in any workplace—but how it’s managed can make the difference between a toxic environment and a thriving, collaborative team.   • Facilitating the World Cafe Process

    Duration: 6–8 hours
    Format: In-person or virtual | Interactive lecture, group discussion, and facilitation practice

    This practical training introduces participants to the World Café—a powerful, conversational process used to engage groups of any size in meaningful dialogue and collective insight. Rooted in principles of collaboration and emergent learning, World Café is ideal for community engagement, strategic planning, organizational development, and participatory decision-making.

    Participants will gain knowledge and tools to effectively plan and facilitate a World Café, with attention to each stage of the process.

    Key modules include:

    · Assessing whether World Café is the right fit for your goals and audience

    · Preparing with conveners and stakeholders

    · Designing meaningful, purpose-driven questions

    · Selecting and preparing effective table hosts

    · Facilitating the World Café process with flow and presence

    · "Harvesting" ideas, themes, and outcomes to inform action and reflection

  • Restorative Justice Conference Facilitation

    Duration: 20 hours
    Format: In-person or virtual | Interactive lectures, small group discussions, and role play

    This 20-hour training provides an in-depth introduction to facilitating restorative justice (RJ) conferences grounded in restorative values and principles. Designed for individuals working in schools, communities, or justice settings, the course equips participants with the essential skills and process knowledge to guide structured, healing-focused dialogues among those affected by harm.

    Participants will learn how to conduct effective pre-conference meetings with victims, responsible parties, and other affected individuals, prepare participants for dialogue, and support the group in identifying harms, impacts, needs, and meaningful steps toward repair.

  • Community Mediation Basic Training

    Duration: 32 hours
    Format: In-person or virtual | Interactive lectures, small group discussions, and role play

    This foundational 32-hour course provides comprehensive training in the principles and practices of community mediation. Participants will explore the nature of conflict, its causes and impacts, and the critical role of the mediator in facilitating constructive dialogue and resolution. Core topics include active listening, effective communication, the mediator’s role, conducting pre-mediation meetings, and facilitating joint mediation sessions that help parties understand each other’s perspectives and develop mutually acceptable agreements.

    Ideal for those interested in conflict resolution, restorative practices, or community engagement, the course emphasizes experiential learning through lectures, group discussions, and realistic role plays. Participants will gain the skills and confidence to begin practicing mediation in supervised or community-based settings

    This training meets or exceeds the minimum training requirements outlined in the California Dispute Resolution Programs Act (DRPA), making it suitable for individuals seeking to volunteer with court-connected or community-based mediation programs in California.
